Dr. Judy R.Mazurin B.Sc., D.TCM, R.Ac
Dr. Judy Mazurin been in practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine for 12years, and is Registered in both Alberta and British Columbia.
Her Bachelor of Science in Biology & Chemistry comes from the University of Victoria, and her Chinese Medical training was taught at the Canadian College of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine (CCAOM).
She has also studied acupuncture and homeopathy in Sri Lanka, at the Open International University. In conjunction with Traditional Chinese Medicine, she has extensive studies in Traditional Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Sports Acupuncture and Rehabilitation, Trigger/Motor Point Acupuncture, Neuro-anatomical Acupuncture, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Diet, Nutrition, Western Herbology and Supplementation, Auriculotherapy, and Homeopathy.
Judy aims to facilitate healing in the body and to provide means of maintaining optimal levels of health, through integrity, vitality, and simplicity.
Judy believes 'Bridging the gap' between Eastern and Western medicines is the way of the future. " I believe the body has an amazing inherent ability and potential to heal itself. You were born with all the necessary tools, and your body will respond when it is supplied the correct tools, nutrients and healing therapies" she says.
She writes many articles and enjoys public speaking on a variety of health subjects in order to inform the public and encourage better and healthier decisions. She believes that educating her clients is very important because she says, “You are your own best doctor”.
