About 9 months ago I tore my rotator cuff. That left my shoulder at minimal strength, and I could not lift my arm past my shoulder. The strength in my hand was weak at best. I went from lifting 35lbs dumbbells on lateral raises at the gym, to barley having the strength in my left arm to lift a 5lb dumbbells.
I went to a physiotherapist to resolve my problem. The physio located the issue, and then recommended some exercises to help get my arm and shoulder working properly. I was told he was not sure what would work, but to come back to the clinic 3 times a week for the next month, at $65 a visit, and we would “see what happens”. After one month of “seeing what would happen”…which was nothing, I was frustrated. My shoulder hadn’t improved, and the physio couldn’t offer me a strategy or any type of exit plan from his clinic.

After 1 visit my shoulder and arm had FULL MOBILITY RESTORED. What happened was that all my muscles were working in one direction to support the weaker muscles. Judy Mazurin gave me a treatment that restored all the muscles to their natural configuration, which allowed my shoulder to return to its original working condition. After 1 visit, I could move my arm and shoulder like new. That is something that 12 treatments at a physio couldn’t even come close too. I am not cutting down the physio, but for this particular case, it wasn’t the right fit for me.
Judy recommended ONE more treatment, I went for two more. Three visits in total. My shoulder has been great ever since. Three treatments…that’s it…I was fixed…I was told I didn’t need to come back. What?!? You mean, you don’t need to see me 3 times a week for the next three years? I went back to the gym, and business was as usual.
Physio $65 X 12 = $780 total cost – Shoulder Not Repaired
